SEL Manufacturing has given investors a return of more than 26,000% returns in just three months. This is because of positive expectancy from the corporate debt restructuring (CDR) mechanism. A consortium of lenders, led by State Bank of India (SBI), had filed a case under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Chandigarh, on October 12, 2017, to begin legal proceeding against the company as it failed to repay outstanding debts. The Company is also under long term additional surveillance measure (ASM) stage 1 category on the BSE.
